Kakeibo - Expense Manager ("we", "our", or "the app") is designed to help users track and manage their personal expenses. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.

• Email address, used for authentication and account access.
• Profile picture, selected by the user through the system file picker using SAF.

b) Device Information

To support multi-device sync functionality, we may collect:

• Device name
• Device model
• Last active timestamp

c) User Data (App Data)

We collect and store the following data created by you:

• Expense amount
• Expense category
• Expense description
• Expense date

This data is necessary for the core functionality of the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Authenticate users securely
• Sync data across multiple devices
• Store and manage expense records
• Improve app performance and overall user experience

4. Data Storage and Sync

• Your data is stored locally on your device first.
• When internet access is available, data is securely synced to Firebase Firestore.
• This supports an offline-first experience with cloud backup and multi-device access.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

Firebase (by Google)

• Firebase Authentication for login and signup
• Firebase Firestore for cloud data storage and synchronization

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

6. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions or access:

• Internet — required for login and cloud synchronization.
• Notifications — used to show reminders and important updates.
• Storage access via SAF (Storage Access Framework) — used only when you manually import or export data, or select a profile picture.

7. Ads and Tracking

• This app does not show ads.
• This app does not currently use analytics or tracking tools.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:
